Today, 4 October 2024, is World Animal Day - a day that reminds us how important it is to respect and protect animals. However, animal welfare should not only be a focus on one day a year, but should be considered in our daily decisions all year round. According to the website of the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office, over 700,000 animals were used in animal experiments in Switzerland in 2023.<\/p>
