We are Tal

Since 1975, we’ve been synonymous with Swiss skincare you can trust. As a family-run skincare brand from Graubünden, we develop our products in Küblis and manufacture them in eastern Switzerland—now in our second generation, owner-managed, and certified to ISO 9001:2015. What drives us is the belief that effective skincare doesn’t have to be complicated: pure ingredients, proven effectiveness, and honest craftsmanship.

A family that stands behind it

Tal is not part of a corporate group but belongs to Parsenn-Produkte AG, a family-owned company from Graubünden that was founded in 1973. The family business is now run by the second generation. What began with the desire to offer effective and honest skin care from Switzerland has, over the decades, become a staple in pharmacies and drugstores. Here, everyone still knows everyone else: We develop, test, and improve our products together, often right at the kitchen table where our ideas are born, before they’re developed in Kübli and manufactured in Eastern Switzerland. It is this close connection to our work that we infuse into every product—and that keeps us ISO 9001:2015-certified to this day and fully committed to what we do.

Edelweiss – Power from the Alps

As a symbol of the Swiss Alps, edelweiss stands for resilience. We specifically incorporate it into our products to protect the skin from free radicals and preserve its elasticity—offering both protection and nourishment. The plant itself survives extreme altitudes, intense UV radiation, and cold without losing any of its vitality—and it is precisely this resilience that we pass on to your skin in concentrated form. In this way, edelweiss extract helps keep the skin supple, firm, and resilient even under daily stress.

Grape Seed Oil – Protection from Nature

Rich in polyphenols, grape seed oil acts as a powerful antioxidant against free radicals and premature skin aging. A precious natural treasure that makes our formulations noticeably more effective. Extracted from grape seeds, this light oil absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy film, while simultaneously nourishing it with valuable fatty acids. In combination with the other active ingredients in our formulas, it helps make the skin appear more even, supple, and resilient over the long term.

Our Family
Erich Lüscher
In 1973, Erich Lüscher and his wife Doris founded Parsenn-Produkte AG in Küblis, Graubünden. Since there was no drugstore in the Prättigau region, the chemist and druggist decided on the spot to open one himself—which led to the creation of the first Tal hand cream. His motto, “Only those who serve can earn money,” continues to shape the company to this day. Today, his sons Oliver and Christian Lüscher run the family business.
Doris Lüscher
In 1973, Doris Lüscher founded Parsenn-Produkte AG in Küblis, Graubünden, together with her husband Erich. At times, Doris helped out in the family business’s administrative office. Behind the scenes, she has always been—and continues to be—an important source of support for the family.
Christian Lüscher
Christian Lüscher, along with his brother Oliver, is part of the second generation to lead Parsenn-Produkte AG, serving as the family-owned company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He describes his role as follows: “Oli is the foreign minister; I’m the interior and finance minister”—while his brother drives the business forward, he keeps things grounded behind the scenes. He lives in Saas in the Prättigau Valley and is the father of two adult sons. Christian Lüscher has deep roots in the Prättigau Valley: He sings in a yodeling choir and serves on the audit committee of the municipality of Klosters. This connection to the region is also reflected in his relationship with the Tal brand.
Oliver Lüscher
Oliver Lüscher is the second-generation CEO of Parsenn-Produkte AG and has been at the helm of the company for over 20 years. His career path did not follow the traditional route of direct succession to the CEO’s office: From the banking sector to training as a chemical laboratory technician, field service, marketing, and sales, all the way to the executive board—this mix of business, technical, and sales experience shapes his perspective on the family business. He is married and the father of two children. Oliver Lüscher loves to explore the world and travel—a passion that is also reflected in his commitment to the internationalization of Tal , such as in the expansion efforts in China, the Middle East, and at Boots UK. His motto: “If everyone thinks the same way, no one is thinking.”
