How do Tal foot masks work?

Our foot masks are intensive treatments for dry and stressed skin. They consist of two socks enriched with a nourishing essence, which are worn for a specific period of time depending on the skin’s needs. This ensures that the formula remains in constant contact with the skin and can intensively moisturize dry areas with moisture and lipids. The skin on the soles of the feet contains a particularly high number of keratinocytes and is significantly thicker than on many other parts of the body. Pressure, friction, and dry skin can cause the stratum corneum to become rough and brittle. A foot mask for dry feet is therefore a soothing addition to your regular foot care routine with foot creamor foot balm.

The active ingredients in our foot mask

The Tal foot mask combines plant extracts with moisture-retaining and nourishing ingredients such as urea, calendula, edelweiss extract, olive oil, and arnica extract. The formula also contains, among other ingredients, glycerin, safflower oil, jojoba oil, camellia oil, hyaluronic acid, and allantoin. Urea is particularly important for dry skin. This naturally occurring active ingredient is one of the skin’s natural moisturizing factors and can bind water in the stratum corneum. In higher concentrations, urea has keratolytic properties. Plant oils such as olive, jojoba, and safflower oils complement this effect with lipids and help keep the skin feeling supple. Calendula and arnica add further botanical ingredients to the formulation, while edelweiss extract provides antioxidant plant compounds. Thus, the Tal foot mask combines moisture, lipid care, and selected plant extracts in a single application.

How do you apply the Tal foot mask?

How do you apply the Tal foot mask?

Wash your feet and dry them thoroughly. Then open the foot mask package, separate the two treatment socks, and slip them on your feet like regular socks. During the application time, the treatment essence remains directly on the skin and can be evenly distributed. Afterward, remove the foot mask and gently massage the remaining essence into the skin. Rinsing is generally not necessary. You can massage particularly dry areas, such as the heels or the balls of your feet, for a little longer. For long-lasting foot care, we recommend combining the mask with the Tal foot cream or foot balm. Our tip: for shoe sizes 43 and up, we recommend making a small cut in the heel of the foot mask. This way, even larger feet will fit comfortably.

Why do feet need intensive care?

Pressure from walking, friction inside shoes, and body weight place particular strain on the heels and balls of the feet. At the same time, the skin on the soles of the feet lacks sebaceous glands and therefore cannot form a protective lipid film—which makes it prone to dryness. If the outer layer of the skin lacks moisture and lipids, the skin becomes rough and brittle. Small cracks and calluses can develop, especially on the heels. A foot mask for cracked feet therefore supplements your daily care routine with an intensive dose of moisture. The Tal foot mask combines, among other ingredients, urea with various plant oils and extracts. It is designed as an intensive treatment and complements your foot care routine. Especially during periods of increased stress, our foot mask can help restore suppleness to dry foot skin.
